PLAYERS' INSURANCE

All players must ensure that they have adequate Personal Insurance to cover any injuries caused whilst playing rugby or during training.

The only playing insurance cover provided by the Club is the RFU Death and Permanent Disability Policy, which currently provides for a maximum of £450,000 in the event of a catastrophic injury. The RFU Insurance only covers players who are enrolled as members of the Club: please ensure that Giles Simons secretary@oldbluesrfc.com 07768 373897 has your full and current details.

No cover is provided for medical/physiotherapy/dental treatment or loss of earnings, which is the responsibility of the individual member.

Having reviewed the market, we would recommend the Sports Accident Protection products offered by the RFU's insurers, Pinnacle Insurance. The products can be viewed via Marsh Sports Group(brokers) Tel. 0845 601 2703 or from Pinnacle Insurance direct. Tel. 0800 0350 240
