Old Blues vs Old Whitgiftians

Many thanks to Old Whitgiftians for stepping in at the last minute to provide us with opposition for a friendly at Motspur Park. The match itself was a very worthwhile endeavour, with some new faces coming on board alongside some old hands, and we were delighted to prove more than a match for our Surrey 1 opposition. Our backs did the damage, with James Mitra, Kobby Yeboah, Tom Sumner and David D'Netto crossing the line to score, but our pack put in a huge effort against a very mobile opposition, and really fronted up at rucktime. Honourable mentions to Jon Bound and Peter Sharpe as well as to debutant James Radmore who took some big hits but got back up every time.
