Old Blues vs Old Rutlishian

The league continued apace down at Old Ruts, and with confidence high after two good wins, the Blues took the field with an (initial) energy and vigour which blew Ruts off the park. With two minutes on the clock, Avron Cunningham touched down the first try for the Old Blues following pressure down the left hand side. The width of the Ruts pitch worked in favour of the Blues backline, and more scores followed before Ruts decided to try to play the ball upfront where they had a clear size advantage. The second half was a terrible advert for the game of rugby as Ruts tried to rumble things up front and both sides made mistake after mistake.
